Job Shadowing

Twice a year, BUA postdocs can apply for short-term internships with selected hosts from sectors closely linked to academia, including science administration, startups, science communication, NGOs, and technology companies. Hosted by experienced leaders and professionals, these placements offer valuable insights into new fields and support postdocs in exploring alternative career paths.

Postdocs at Risk

The “Postdocs at Risk” program supports researchers facing challenging life circumstances. Each year, selected postdocs from BUA institutions receive tailored assistance designed to meet their individual needs and help them continue advancing their careers. Support includes language courses, personalized coaching, and networking opportunities.
