What if there is no ‘systems consolidation’? Memory dynamics over time could reflect the interplay of multiple forms of memory engrams

Feb 10, 2026 4:00 pm CET | BCCN Lecture Hall Philippstraße 13, 10115 | ZOOM ID: 7754910236
Systems consolidation is a hypothetical process by which memories gradually transition from initial dependence on the hippocampus to long-term representation within distributed neocortical networks. Exhibition "Versäumte Bilder" - "Missed Images"

Feb 26, 2026 | 17:00 | Rahel Hirsch center for Translational Medicine (RHC) Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin (EN/DE)

Image, Gesine Born

The Versäumte Bilder project captures "missed images" of female scientists and their ground-breaking contributions. Artist Gesine Born (Bilderinstitut) raises awareness for the achievements of women through AI-generated images, which are based on real images and their historical narratives. Have a look at the missed images in Born's projects in Bonn and Darmstadt.

The CRC1315 will be participating with an AI-generated image of an important scientist. Join us for the opening!
